Another shoot today. I’ve seen so many post of Moetan Pastel Ink post, so I decided to do one. I know, most of the posts are about the GoodSmile Pastel Ink. I decided to do something different. Do a post of the Kotobukiya MoeTan. As some of you had read, I bought this Moetan on Victoria day yesterday. It was also part of my loot. I decided to buy it because I love the show and love how the figures look. You can saw it was one of those impulse buy. Anyhow, on to the moe shoot!!!

Well, I think it went fairly well. I wish I had lights that are a bit brighter. Still, I feel it was okay. It wasn’t all fantastic or anything, I just wished it was brighter. Maybe I should find the time to go to the art store soon. I took a lot of pictures today. It was hard to decide out of 35 pictures. Took a while but finally decided on these pictures you see above.
Well, this time, the Pastel Ink figure is by Kotobukiya. Like almost every Kotobukiya figure I own, they are extremely detailed. Her face is soooo kawaii!!!!!!! The paint on this figure is done nicely. I just love the color on the figure. Her ribbons are detailed well. The pose itself is really cool!!! To me, it’s possibly one of the most kawaii figure that is out in the market. I think the eye wink seals it to be on of the most kawaii figures ever. My rate for this figure is an A+. It’s a must get for people who love moe to kawaii figure!!!!!!!
As you might or might not know, I bought this figure yesterday when I went to down town. As some of you do know, when I do go to down town, I stop by China town and go to the anime stores there. I bought it at AnimeXtreme. If I remember correctly, I got it for around $35. It was a good price considering the original japanese price was 4200 yen. It was one of those impulse buys too. The kawaii-ness of the figure really really temped me into buying it. I bought it because of that. I don’t regret buying it!!!

Kotobukiya figures are always the easiest to get as impulse buys, they are decent quality for a good price. Pretty much all the Kotobukiya figures i own are impulse buys but then i’m not regretful since they are of good quality. She looks so cute and is a good option for a figure if you don’t want to spend a crap ton for Good Smile’s version. While i will say if i see good smiles version at AX for a decent price she will be mine!
You sure seem to be getting a lot of figures at bargain prices. Though personally I prefer the GSC version than the Kotobukiya one.
Where is the pedobear seal of approval XD ?! Moetan is one of my favorite loli characters they sure know how to depict her ^_^
Cute! I’ve wanted her for awhile but I’m having trouble deciding between Pastel and Nijihara Ink. ^^
almost bought this one before, but GSC then announced their moetan. so I pre-ordered GSC instead ^^
but $35 is cheap, I will buy this one for that price

Wow! So cute! And what a price! I would have bought it as well! Hmm, Chinatown huh? I need to check chinatown here (philly) and see if there are any anime shops there.
