Ah day 2 of Anime North was fun. It has some down falls but was really enjoyable. I say that day 2 is where most my photos are in. It’s reall cool. Now I’m wondering if you all would want all these 3 post in one big post…

Day 2 Start:

Well, I woke up in my room at around 7:30AM. With only a few hours of rest is good at a convention. Brushed my teeth and got changed. I went to eat breakfast with my friends.

This is the lobby area in the morning…barely no one awake or here…

Went to Tim Hortons for some Ice Cap. That would be the stuff to keep me awake for the whole day… When I arrive at Tim Horton, there was a line. The people who actually wake up early to avoid the line have to line up with the people who woke up early… After a nice drink, I went to the convention…

Headed to the convention now. Why so early you say, line up for the dealer room…

On the why, saw a nice cosplayer…I think it is from Resident Evil…..

For people who have passes, they too have to wait in a line, a dealer room line… Long line….

Finally reached into the dealer room…once again….most people will spend at least 50% of their time in the dealers room!!! That’s what I do too. Most of your goods are sold here…fills the otaku needs…

Shelfs of manga… A lot of manga are selling here…good prices too. Here in Canada, most goods at conventions are sold at US price…which is cheaper…

Not only anime goods are sold here, games are also sold here too.

A huge crowd gathering for free Code Geass posters…I grabbed around 12 posters!!! Also free T-shirts as well!!!

Plushie lovers out there, the largest selection of plushies are here!!!

Time to head to line up for the Haruko Momoi concert. Saturday, there is always a huge amount of congoers walking around. This part of the con, has a huge amount people…for people who feels hot, there is an ice cream truck selling cold yummy ice cream!!!

I can barely get through this huge crowd of cosplayers and congoers…

Another Anise from Tales Of Abyss!!!!!!! I think it’s because the voice of Anise is here at the convention (for people who doesn’t know, it’s Halko Momoi)

Finally reached the concert line… Lucky for me, my friend came earlier and got a place really near the front of the line. I took some pictures of the line…

I say I was like 12th in line…

10 minute later…line is that long…20 minutes to go till I enter the concert… Right now, really excited about the concert and can’t wait…

The concert stage…I had only one picture because cameras are not allowed in the concert… I would took pictures during the concert if tehy allowed me.

The concert was amazing!!!!!!!! I was tired out!!! We recieved during the concert free glow sticks!!! I took a bunch oof them since they keep handing them out. So yea…I have like 15 free glow sticks…and used 4 of them… After the concert, I rushed out and lined up for Halko Momoi autograph sign up. I was lucky and reached the line up…I was 3rd in line…

People are buying Momoi goods for the autograph signing… I got them before the concert!!! The line quickly grew till I couldn’t see the line…

The ever increasing line… A lot of people… 30 minutes to go till the signing…

Sadly, we couldn’t take a picture with her… I took a picture with her signing my stuff!!! Two per person too!!! I got her to sign my CD and my friends book. She was really KAWAII when I saw her in person. I also go a hug from her too!!!

After the signing, I dropped off my CD in my room. Headed back to the dealers room to get something for my friend…

It was Kenpachi and Yachiru!!! This is a first, Yachiru cosplayer on a Kenpachi cosplayer… That is so cool!!! Hope Yachiru can hang on…

For once, a good gundam cosplay!!! Usually I see people cosplaying a gundam, is way off, from boxes to shortness… Sadly, a guy going as a pink gundam…real funny!!! Lockon with Haro too!!! Gundam Seed and Gundam 00 miraged!!!!! Where’s Meer, someone stole her Zaku!!! Also to the other Meisters, Lockon is alive and is at Anime North!!!!!!!

I quickly headed to the Capcom Vs Snk 2 tourney…

On of the very few Code Geass cosplayers. I know it’s hard to cosplay as Zero. Helmet is hard to make… Zero is trying to drink…

This is what happens if Naruto and Kingdom Hearts became one… Instead of using kunai or swords they use Keyblades and have a better sense in fashion…

Capcom Vs Snk 2 free play when I arrived…

I quickly signed up!!! I played a bit to get into the groove…

Tournament registration desk… I know one of them since I played against him and won before. He is an extremely skilled player too!!! He knows me since I am one of the regular fighting game players that comes every year.

Big projectors for the tournaments… It’s real big…

I was able to win my first match. It was 2 win matches out of the 3 matches… I was able to win 2 matches in a row without losing… Not bad for me…so far…

Then I waited till my turn… I found out one of my friends actually got a by in the tournament since the guy saw my friends free play match and decided to throw the tournament…and then finds out he is facing me next.. That is something I would like to say “WTF”!!! Since my friend know my moves in and out… Then I recieve a call that there was an incident that happened. I quickly didn’t try in the tourney and quickly headed back to the hotel to solve the matter. I threw away the tournament for solve the problem…that pissed me off. I was like about to explode when I found out what was the small fight was about some doll.

Okay, this might look like I’m ranting about, but bare with me. When I found out it was all over a doll and one of my friends were injuried by a friend that she brought, I was extremely angry. First: Who will hurt someone for a doll that she misplaced in the room. Second: Why strike your own best friend for a doll that she lent it to in the first place and bought you to AN. Third: She didn’t listen to me when I told them all the rules before they entered their rooms. This issue pissed me off and I was like going on a rage. Thanks to one of my best friends Vibi, he helped me calm down. Still, threw away the tourney which I played and trained for a whole 2 years!!!!!! Since last year, tehy didn’t have it. After a huge talk about the fight to random stuff, my friends and I headed to dinner.

Went to Swiss Chalet to dinner. I originally wanted to go to Millstone or Kelseys but there was a huge line waiting all the way outside… So we went to Swiss Chalet… Lucky us, there was no line…

After a good dinner, We went back to the hotel At the time we went out of the hotel, it was dark. When I reached back to the hotel doors, I say a tetris block. I took a picture. AN is known for random cosplays too. These random cosplays are funny too!!! Last year, somesone cosplayed as a Wii remote.

We walked in and saw Code Geass cosplayers!!! Headed back to my room…

Then around 1AM, my friends and I deicded to go to all night gaming… As a gamer, I really wanted to attend it and plus, last years all night gaming was horrible, it wasn’t even all night…So I hope it was all night…

Arrived and started playing some games. I played Arcana Hearts for around 40 minutes. After, my arm became swore…

I continue playing and played Capcom Vs Snk 2. I did better in free play then the tourney!!! When playing, my arm is swore due to Arcana Hearts which I’m really good at!!! Free play continued and I played more fighting games till my can’t play anymore…

Soul Caiber 3 is playing now…This is the time I was about to leave to go back to the hotel. This was about 3:45AM when I left…

Got back to the hotel at 4AM. There are still people sitting around this late… I think some people are going for teh All Night Haruhi. Which you watch every episode of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. It would be nice to go but it was late as it is. Besides, I must rest for the last day of Anime North.

Went back to my room and slept at 5:30AM…

Day 2 thoughts:

It was fun today. Took a lot of pictures.

The concert alone was crazy!!! I was on my feet for the whole time!!! Meeting and hugging Halko Momoi is a life time experience!!!!!

The downfall is that fight that broke out…I threw away the tourney which was suppose to make my day…

All night gaming was my saving grace!!! Played till my arm can’t play anymore…
