Comiket Line Help…

Short post today. I’ve been really busy preparing for my trip to Japan. Anyways, as some of you know that Comiket is one of the biggest conventions in the world. Being the biggest also includes huge lines. Well now there is something going on at Yahoo auctions that helps people with their line problem. People who are willing to pay 25,000 yen ($250) can get your own guy to stand in line for you at Comiket. Basically, a guy that you pay will wait in line for you early in the morning for you up to 6 hours which is at 7AM. When you arrive, he gives that place to you. It’s sounds ridiculous I know. It’s actually going on at Yahoo auctions.

This is one of those things that I would never do. I would rather get up early or stay there overnight. Come on, for $250, you can get a lot of other or anime goods there.

If you have that amount of money, you might want to consider this if you hate lines. Well, I’m not sure how this whole thing works. To me, it might be a scam or something.

Well, if you had a choice, what would you do? Pay some guy to stand in line for you or stand in line yourself?

I’d probably stand in line myself, because you pretty much have a 50/50 chance of it being a scam. and if you find out it is or can’t find the guy you would just have to wait in the line for a longer amount of time.

I’d never stand in a line for so many hours not even to buy the latest piece of hardware because I can get it easily after a few days, sure comiket is completely different but still I wouldn’t stand in a line like this.

You know how much doujinshi you can get for $250? Those people bidding must be rich as hell. =_=

Hell no I’m not paying $250. You can argue lining up is part of the experience. No pain no gain >:(.

6 hours? I’ve done it before. In the freezing cold of Black Friday. So cold that I couldn’t even fall asleep…

Akari: That’s a must in a line. Well, a book is also a good thing too. Read in line passes the time pretty well…

Optic: It totally sounds like a scam to me too. Well, I’ll be there over night just to get a good spot in line.

Nomad: That’s mostly almost everyones choice!!!

Belela-san: Well, this is nothing compared to the PS3 lining up thing I did for the PS3 release. The most stupidest thing I ever did…

Sonic_Ver2: Not for first timers I say. Don’t worry, I’ll have line coverage too!!!

Coco The Bean: Doujinshi ranges from $5 to $10 I think. Well, just need to guess…

Darkdam: I did something like that. PS3 Release, 12 hours in line…
