Soul Caliber 4 get!!!!!
Well, today, my pre order of Soul Caliber 4 came in. I got myself the special edition of the Xbox 360 version of the game. When I bought this game, I originally thought about the time I have left to play it while trying to prepare to go on my epic trip. Well, I want to play it a bit beofre I leave. At least a few hours of it. The good thing I have most of the days this week off from work so I have time to play Soul Caliber 4 and prepare for Japan. I think I should play less and prepare more…I don’t know…what to do…
Well, the picture above shows the content that came with it. It’s not that bad. It’s pretty cool. It comes with a short comic, a poster, a marker, a special code that is used to download special content, the game, a tshirt and the special metal tin. This is a lot of goods in it!!!!!!
For people who don’t know what Soul Caliber is, it’s a 3d fighting game. It was originally for the arcades until it was ported to the Sega Dreamcast. The sequels begin to come out. With their newest one Soul Caliber 4 featuring online play and guest characters. The guest characters are Yoda (Xbox 360), Darth Vader (PS3) and Darth Vader’s secret apprentice (both).
I was surprised to hear about Star Wars characters as playable characters in Soul Caliber 4 months ago. I was exicted about it and I finally have the chance to play it. I have to say, Yoda is fast but tricky to use. It’s hard to connect with combos and stuff. Well, I think I need practice to improve my gaming skills.
Well, so far I already played the extremely short story mode with a few characters. The characters I already beated the story mode is Yoda, Talim, Amy, Xianghua, Kilik, and Sophita. Well, not much but I haven’t played that much. Most of the time I spent making a new character. Well, it’s really interesting with all the customizable stuff avaliable to use.
Well, the gameplay itself is pretty good. Not bad, it could use some improvements. Well, the AI needs to be a bit harders. It’s too easy I have to say. I managed perfecting with Amy throughout the whole storyline. I also found out that Amy is rigged so bad. She’s powerful and most her attacks go through.
Well, enough for me yapping around, I suggest that you go to your local game store and pick up yourself a copy of Soul Caliber 4. It’s really cool for fans of the game.
Well, this post got me thinking. If you got a new game on the week of your epic trip, would you play it like mad or go prepare for you trip?

I was really good at Soul Calibur 3 a long time ago. My friends and I used to have Soul Calibur nights where we would start at 8 and go to like 5 eating pizza, junk food, and mashing Soul Calibur 3.
I want to challenge you, but I don’t own a next gen console…
Also Amy is rigged because she’s not an actual story character, doesn’t she have a moveset similar to that rapier dude though?

I totally want this game just for the Star Wars characters. Wish Yoda was on the PS3 though…

When my friend told me they were putting in Star Wars characters I thought he was lying XD. That seemed a bit too weird. I didn’t think it was true till I saw the commercial.
And yeah the same thing kinda happened to me. When I first got Megaman Anniversary Collection for the GC we were moving and I could not play it. I had to pack it up and take it in the car and play for a few hours in the hotel. Though not too long since my mom and dad wanted to watch TV XD

Got the game yesterday , i love it
But some of my fav characters got killed , they’re not as good as in soul 3 :’(
and the gameplay is slower so it’s hard reajusting and get the skills back :p

I got it Tuesday for the PS3! Mine’s just regular edition though. I haven’t played too much of it. I did arcade a few times and played training with Darth Vader. He’s pretty cool to play. I really like the character creation. I hope I can get more stuff to customize my characters. >:3 I don’t think it’s too easy but then again, I’m not that good at fighter games. I need to look into getting a second controller so, I can play with other people too.
Hopefully I’ll be able to play it more today without my brother asking to make another character. -_-’
