Well, I arrived in Japan 2 days ago but was unable to update due to my laptop was low on power and the power outlets doesn’t support my laptops adapter. It took awhile to figure out when the hotel I’m staying at has converts just in case… I was like oh my god, they had it here all along. Anyways, I’m currently in Japan and struggling with the language barrier. I knew I should had studied more on the language then how to get from point A to point B. Well, it was easy so far since the places I go understands a bit of English and hand gestures.

This is the main hallway of the hotel. It’s really nice looking!!!!!!! I was like wow when we entered the hotel. My friend was like “give me you camera” and went to take some pictures while my mother and I went to check in. Yes my mom came along for a good reason. My friend looses stuff easily and she’s here to look after his passport and mine. Next year, no parents for sure…

Well, we went out for dinner and I forgot to bring my camera. So no pictures of Daiba Aqua City. Well, it’s a really nice place to go and some good food. Well, I found out there was a Jump store there and I did my first purchase in Japan. I bought some goods but not going to show you until my trip ends.

Here is something I never thought that Mcdonalds have. Melon Bread. It’s the stuff that Shana eats. Man my friend would be really anger if he say me eating this since he is a big fan of Shakugan No Shana.

Well, we went to bed early due to the tiring plane ride from Hong Kong.

Well, the next day in Japan. Man, it feels good waking up in Japan!!!!! Knowing that I will be heading to Akihabara today. Well, I got ready to go to Akihabara.

The morning view through the window of my room. Cloudy today. It means it’s not going to be that hot!!! Man was I mistaken when I went outside.

Well, we head outside to the hotel and man, it was hot. I look to the Fuji television station and there was a ton of people. It seems like some sort of festival thing is going on. I have no idea what is about but I hope to check out later this week.

Anyways headed for the train station to get to Shimbashi station to transfer to a JR line.

One the train I learned that the first season of Gundam 00 is going to be on Blue Ray!!!!!! YAY!!!!!

We arrived at Shimbashi and to my surprise, there was a lot of people wearing traditional Japanese clothing. I thought it was a common thing until I see half the people wearing it. I then thought there is some kind of thing going on. So far, nothing comes to mind.

Free fans anyone. My friend took some since they were free, It came in handy because of the hot weather.

Well, we took the Yamanote Line to Akihabara.

While waiting for the train I just realized that we forgot our passports back in the hotel. We needed our passports to get our train passes. Well, we decided to get some lunch first before we go get our passports…

Trains have TV’s. That is not fair, why don’t we have something like this in Toronto…

Well, when you see this, you’ll know your in Akihabara!!!!!!!! Yes, I arrived in the otaku haven!!!!!!!

Can’t go on an otaku goodie hunt without a full stomach so we went to get something to eat. The food there is pretty good. For 900Yen I got curry with rice and another large bowl of noodles. I couldn’t even finish it and I was unaware that it came with noodles. I came out of that place with a full stomach.

A lot of people in Akihabara. I have arrived officially in AKIHABARA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The hard part is where to go first. I wanted to visit Gamers but my friend dragged my to this other place…

We went into this Kotobukiya store. So many goods to choose from it’s hard to decide!!!

So many floors…tiring…but willing to continue forward with this walk!!!!!!! This is the way of the otaku!!!!!!!

Well, after climb up and down the stairs of one place. We finally went to see Gamers and boy, what a sight!!!!!

So many stores!!!!!!! Filled with anime goodies…

I wish I can stop time and explore this place to my hearts content…

Went back to Daiba to get our passport to get out rail passes…

On the way, so many people on the streets to see something. I’m guessing fireworks…

Well, finally got all the rail pass stuff done and headed back to Akihabara. It’s dark now…

Well, my friend and I were able to explore Gamers and I was able to finally get something. Not much though… Still, I want a lot of things. I’ll hold back until I find a post office.

Near closing time. Most stores are closed at this time. Still, I want to continue to explore…

Well, we went to Club Sega. It was a crazy arcade.

A UFO catcher with Haruhi and Yuki. That is so nice but hard as hell!!!!!! Well, there was a few stores and I was able to play some Street Fighter 4!!!!! I have to say, finally I get my hands on this game!!!!!! So fun!!!!!! I also get to play this gundam game where you a in a pod like thing and control a mobile suit in first person. It’s really nice!!!!!

When my friend and I are about to leave. It started to rain, we stayed in Club Sega for a while till the rain dialed down a bit. After 30 minutes or so, I was able to go back to Daiba and have dinner.

This conclude part 1 of my trip to Akihabara and there will be a part two. Currently, there is a ton of stuff to be done before I’m able to post. I’ll be going to Akihabara again tomorrow and going to some sort of Gundam Expo Adun told me about. Well, be also meeting Adun tomorrow and he’ll show me some good place in Akihabara. Well, I hope I’ll be able to post tomorrow. Well, I’m heading to bed now!!!!!!
