Well, going to take a break from talking about Akihabara and talk about the Gundam Expo that I attended today. I have to first thanks Adun of Moe Moe Rabu for letting my friend and I tag along with his friends to attend this event. Without them, I wouldn’t have known about this Gundam Expo thing going on and I would had spent an entire day walking around Akihabara and doing other things. I’ll get back to talking about Akihabara really soon.

Well, my friend and I met Adun at Shibuya. After a round of introductions, we went on our way to the Gundam Expo in Ikebukuro. It was a 30 minute of so train ride from Shibuya to Ikebukuro. We went out of the station.

Well, we arrive at East Ikebukuro. It was filled with people…

A lot of buildings…

Japan’s street in the afternoon is always filled with people. It’s also really hot outside. I was already sweating. I knew it was a bad idea to wear a black UFC t-shirt. Note to self: Do not wear a black or dark t-shirt during Comiket.

As we see this sign, this means we are in the right place or at least heading to the right direction.

While heading to the area, more and more of these signs of Gundam Expo appears. Well, at least we were heading at the right direction. I didn’t want to get lost and stuff.

As we walked in, we are greeted by this really big model Gundam.

Well, half the expo I can say that it talks about Amuro and Char’s history. Well, it’s pretty fitting due to the fact that these two characters shaped the Gundam world as we know it. They have tributes to their units that both have piloted.

Clearly this is a space colony model. I so want to take this home…

Then it comes to the series that we all know. You hear me, Gundam Seed!!! All five main Gundam units of Seed. I want to take Strike and Blitz home with me…

Just like the other gundam models…the Seed section had the Seed and Destiny gundam models!!!!!

I just Strike Freedom!!!!! I want it so bad!!!!!!!

Then came along Gundam 00. This is a huge Exia!!!!!!!!!!!

Then Unicorn Gundam… There is something about a new anime coming out about the Unicorn Gundam as I watched the trailer of it. It takes place a few moons after Char’s Counterattack. Maybe some unanswered questions will come to light.

Well, most of us got separated in there as we went to do our own thing while we were in the expo. I was like there was too many things to enjoy!!!

Well, we eventually found each other and left for something to eat. At this time I was starving due to the fact I didn’t eat breakfast. Well, we headed to this small restaurant to eat.

Well, this is my lunch. It’s a Hamburg steak. It was really good and came with rice.

Once we were full, we all headed out to look at some anime goodies!!!!!!

This was across the street from the Gundam Expo. I have to say, how convenient.

I remember this place…it may sell used goods but almost everything in there was yaoi. I have to in there for one reason. Find yaoi doujinshi for my friends who request these doujinshi… I have to say, mission failed due to the fact, I can’t find it and there was too many doujinshi in there…I need a day to look through it and I’m not perpared to do that.

K-Books, good place for doujinshi and I was able to find the one I want. Plus I was able to find some good vocaloid ones too!!!!!! I have to saw, don’t go in there if your not 18 or over of age. A lot of adult content in there… Still there was one store i want to get something from, there was thing Lucky Star frame and it was autographed by the creator and I wanted it. Sadly, I was unable to get it due to the fact it was $200. I would get it if the stupid ATM’s here actually works… I saved up a ton of money and put it into my ATM after reading it works in Japan. Now I can’t even get some of it out… I need to find a back soon…

Well, after a few stores, we decided to leave cause it started raining. We went our separate ways when my friend and I arrived at Shimbashi. Since Shimbashi is the starting station of the train needed to go to Daiba. Well, we got back and chilled for a while and there was no rain at all. We headed out for dinner at Aqua City near my hotel. It was a good meal and now perparing for the Lucky Star venture.

Well, for tomorrow, I’ll be heading to Saitama with Adun for our Lucky Star venture. I won’t know when I will return but I will post as much as I can when I come back from the trip. I might post Akihabara part 2 as well. We’ll see so far. Anyways, going to bed now as I have a big day tomorrow.
