Figure Shoot Preview!!!
September 7th 2008 06:39 am
Don’t mistaken the picture above to be the actual shoot. This is just a preview. I f I do a preview, it’s most likely that the real shoot will be the next day. I know, I can hear the readers say it now. Your still not done with the shoot. We are all waiting for you!!! Let me explain. Well, I’m still working on the shoot. I’m having trouble decide on which background color to use. Also I’ve been busy and as well UFC pay per view was on and it was so crazy. Things that happened, I never thought will. So surprising about the result. Anyways, I was hoping to finish it up today but it wasn’t possible. Most likely I will be done by tomorrow and it will be up tomorrow.
I’m still messing around with the new lights and stuff. I’m also using a different camera. I forgot to mention earlier I’m using a DLSR camera now (From my trip to Hong Kong). So I’m still messing around with the settings. If anyone has any tips on using a DLSR camera, I would be happy to hear it. I’m still a noob when it comes to using this camera. This is one of many reasons the shoot is taking forever. Next the background. I wanted to use a different background color but currently unsure about it. I might add new things to the shoot. I felt that my past shoots were too plain, but yet I’m still improving. I hope to get better and add something new into my shoots. Well, I hope it’ll turn out well. Just tune in tomorrow and see the end product of my messing around!!!!!

No rush, just take ur time. ^^
The important thing is, I hope u are enjoying this photoshoot because if ur not, then I won’t enjoy reading it.
I would have used a sky blue background ^^
Anyway good luck with your DLSR , it’s not easy at first but it’s so much better
Take your time , we’ll still love you , even if you make us wait ^^
The first thing to do after getting a DSLR is getting used to it, and learn about things like exposure, metering, aperture, shutter speed, and things related to that.
If you’re still in learning, i suggest to do the figure photoshot outdoor at noon / morning, because it’s easier to get a good picture.
It’s hard to do photoshoot using mini studio setup, especially when you don’t want to get a flat (using direct internal flash) picture and shadow in the background.
Anyway, what kind of DSLR you got?
for starters, play around with the “P” mode. get used to shooting using the view finder as well. ^^;
Like above, maybe a sky blue or maybe even a yellow to make her stand out more? I don’t know much about photography so, I’m probably not the best person to take advice from. :/
Optic: I do enjoy making it. Just that time is an issue. Uni life keeps me busy…
PS, I notice my site link isn’t there anymore…on you blogroll…
James: DLSR cameras are easier to use compared to a normal digital camera…
Sonic_Ver2: Well, camera is a Canon 1000D…
Gordon: Still trying to get use to it…
Larein: I’ll keep that in mind…
