Finally mid terms finally over. I can finally relax after 2 weeks of studying and doing school stuff. With mid terms done today, after it I decided to go and see this Gaming Invasion my friend told me about which is across the street from my University, at Dundas Square. Well, it’s basically a tent that display and have demos and full games of unreleased or newly released games. Well, I went there and tried out and played some games.

This event is sponsered by Best Buy which is located beside my University. All the games are inside. The best thing of all, it’s free to go in and play all the games.

Inside, there is already a lot of people playing games…I looked around and see what game to play first!!!

Each of the tent is split into a few section. One side is Xbox 360 games and some games like Gears Of War 2 and Far Cry 2. The other side consist of Nintindo Wii and the other is PS3 which has Resistance 2 and Little Big Planet. The entrance has Crysis Warhead and the unreleased Guitar Hero World Tour. I was able to play most of these games and I have to say, it is amazing and I can’t wait to get my hands on them when they come out!!!

Well, you can’t see it, but these people are looking and playing Rock Band 2. I had to wait for a long time for my turn…

There is a stage in the middle. Sadly, this is for the weekend event and evening event but I couldn’t stay for long to see who gets up on stage.

Ah, one of my personal favorites. Gears Of War 2. I have to say, I damn amazing and super fun!!! I just love the graphics and the weapons. Shoot and kill your enemies, so easy!!!

Guitar Hero World Tour!!! I have to say, the longest line there. So many people crowd around this area and try to get their hands to play. I played as the singer for a game then the bass for 2 games and the drummer for 1 game. Well, as the singer, one of the other guys picked BYOB by System of a Down and is hard as hell to sing since the singer sings so fast. Still, so fun and going to get it when it comes out!!!

Wipe Out of the PS3!!! So nice!!! Fun and fast racing!!!

More Guitar Hero WT… It’s a great game and with great music!!!

Some WWE game…not bad… I’m not a fan of the games since most of it is always the same…

Getting crowded after a while being here…After 2 hours, the people coming in here are increasing…

A trailer for Far Cry 2 on TV… They showed it on this TV in the middle of the Far Cry 2 section…

Far Cry 2 is playable here. I tried it and was pretty fun!!! So many weapons to pick from and I had a hard time deciding on which to use…hmmmmmm…rifle, knife or sniper rifle, such a hard decision…

Castlevania Judgment…the art looks familiar doesn’t it…

Saints Row 2 for the 360. This is almost the same as GTA in gameplay style but I perfer GTA4 a lot better…

So many people are here, the line for game waiting increases…

This is something I loved. I loved the show and the game is sick enough… When I saw this, I quickly picked up the controller and start playing it!!!

Graphics are really nice!!! Afro’s imaginary friend ninja!!!

The actual gameplay but was too busy to take pictures of it…I had a hell of a time playing it though!!! The focus system is a great way to kill an enemy and I like how the enemey gets slice in half or slice the top of the head off… Controls are easy and simple to follow!!! I need to figure out how to lock on the enemy though…

Went back to Gears Of War 2 booth to play it again…

The Gears Of War 2 Xbox 360!!! This is really nice!!!

Far Cry 2 is a fun game. Just run around and blow things up!!! Great Fun!!!

Went to the Little Big Planet section. They had a huge section to themselves and it’s sooo cute yet cool at the same time!!!

TV showing the game and gameplay!!!!!!

Picked up a controller and kept playing for around an hour or so…it’s so addicting and the graphics are just stunning!!! Controls still need a bit of work but still, it’s a really solid and wonderful game!!! I am waiting on it right now and I want it so bad!!! This makes getting a PS3 worth it!!!

I sure rule!!!!! First place in the multiplayer game!!! Go my blue Little Big Planet character!!!!!

Well, at this event, they gave out free stuff!!! I got myself 4 t-shirts. The white Little Big Planet t-shirt is given in a ball, Yes a ball, as you can see the open version and the ball version which is at the around ball in the picture. I’m not joking, there is a t-shirt inside. Also got some PlayStation t-shirt and a PS USB. Some stickers and a small poster!!! All this stuff was free too!!! I couldn’t resist free stuff and their good free stuff too!!! So nice!!!

Also, who ever is in the downtown Toronto area, can go to this event as it is a 3 day event. It ends on Sunday, well that is what I heard anyways.

Well, as mid terms are over, I have time to work on things I haven’t worked on for a while and I need to do!!! Well, most of it is the photo shoots and new theme. Well, I’ll leave it for tomorrow as it is pretty late right now!!!
