Figure Box Stack Tower…

Well, Ifelt it was about time to reorganize my stack of figures and boxes. Well, currently still doing that but I decided to have some fun with them. As some of you know that I’m the type of person who doesn’t like to take figures out of their boxes and I like to keep the boxes when I take the figure out of the box. Some of you might say that the boxes takes up a lot of room. I agree but I tend to think that just in case I move or something, I have a place to pack my figures, so they don’t get damaged. Well, I tried to make a stack that will reach the ceiling of my room. Above picture was my preperation phase of my room and figures. I wonder if you guys can guess what figures are there.
Well, I’m using around 50% to 60% of my collection to do this little fun time. I had a great time doing this. The hard part was keeping this tower balance and preventing it from falling and damaging my figrues. Note: That the figures are still in the boxes. Well here is as far as I went with the stack…

Well, I would had gone farther but I was afraid that the pile would collapse. I could had gone all the way, as you can see form some left over figures. I plan to do this again but hopefully, I can stack it to my ceiling… I was close but oh well, better then going as far as you can then going all the way and cause damage to the collection.
If you want me to a shoot on any of these figures you see here, please tell me and I’ll be happy to do one in the near future.
Also, it gets me thinking. I know some people throw out their boxes others keep them. Do you keep them or throw them out when you take out the figure?

i use to throw out my boxes but now i keep them. well only those nicer ones. ^^;

I seem to like to keep everything, so for figures I like to keep all the boxes.

Anyway, I also do as what you did. keep the boxes. Currently having 3 huge cardboard boxes to store window boxes… and that’s just 75% of the boxes.. some are stored at my drawer, etc.
And yer room looks pretty small with all that boxes.
I thought it touched the ceiling considering I couldn’t see the top. Ur posters distracted me. lol
As u know, I keep all of my boxes just so I can put them back when I move them out. I just find keeping them inside their boxes just doesn’t show the true beauty and detail of them.
You know what? My mom RAGED (? ???) because I took up a lot of space storing the boxes on the top tier of my wardrobe. Now She cant store the comforter, bags and stuff ( ´?`)
I wonder if i have sufficient box to pile up till the ceiling.

Wow so many posters XD. I keep my boxes, though I love to throw some out. Too many!!
So many figurines box, the only boxed figurine that I have are nendo moetan and nendo melissa, usually I unbox the figurine immediately after I receive it ^^

my brother moved out a while ago and he (about 2 months ago) finally emptied out his closet, so i took it over, it’s about halfway filled with figure boxes. I keep them in case i ever move, you know easy transportation. When my bf did live in Cali he moved three different times and when he did have figures i insisted he keep the boxes. It ended up helping big time when it came time to pack and they didn’t get damaged at all. Plus in case say you realize one figure is so bad and you hate it and you want to sell it (it happens but rarely for me) it’s much easier to sell a figure when you have the original box and the packing inside as well

I used to throw my boxes out but, I’m keeping most of them now. It would actually be harder to find a place for a figure to safely sit outside it’s box right now. For the little figures though, I might throw out their boxes once I have a place to store them.

I’m more happy about all your lovely Cardcaptor Sakura posters! I love your ceiling! Cardcaptor Sakura has a very special place in my heart. I hold onto my boxes too! Not only do they make moving easy and stress free but if (god forbid) you ever wanted to sell your figures you’d get a lot more money. I’m not obsessed about retaining the value of the figure, but I do like to hold onto the boxes for that reason. I see you have Yuki and Haruhi EX Sega prize figures! I’m FINALLY going to be getting mine this week and I’m sooo excited!
