Another late update. Been cleaning and re organizing my room since I recently cleared out my old lego stuff and bought a new shelf for my figures. Soon at least a few of my figures will not be what some of people call it figure prison. As you can see, it’s a mess, I need to empty my other shelf so I can move it to the left a bit so I have room for the shelf. I originally planned on putting it beside the door to my bathroom but the problem is when I open the door after my hot shower and I worry about figure leaning or the heat from there will damage my figures. So I changed my plans and put it between my two shelves.
The shelf came in the box. Well, it’s real heavy. Trying to bring this upstairs to my room was a pain. It’s heavy…two people is a must… Well, also two people is a must when building this. It’s too hard to build it with one person. Also glass is fragile and I had to be very careful!!!

Well, look what I found after digging through the bottom of my shelf. I haven’t touched this for 2 years since I bought it around 3 years ago. How long ago was the last time Nanoha A’s was out…a few years I say. Maybe I’ll open it soon. When I add a new feature to the site (not telling what it is yet).

After an hour or 2 reorganizing and building…finally done… As you can see the shelf on the far left, it’s been moved and it’s a lot neater then it was before. Figures will go inside that shelf. The thing is which figure…with a collection that is over 100 figures, it hard to decide which should I take out of the box. Decisions…decisions…hard choice…
On a side note. I think the figure guess was way to easy as many pointed out. Everyone got it right. Well, I’ll do a harder one in the near future and with prizes as well!!!
The answer to the figure guess is: Queen Blade Airi, Shining Wind Elwing and Kanon Makoto. Will do a harder one soon!!!
Well, be putting in figures into my new shelf!!!! Some figures of mine will get lucky and be out of the box.
You think it’s a good idea to keep figures in a box or take them out?
For me, I keep them in boxes and a few out of the box. Reason why, dust. I have a hell of a time each week to clean my figrues from the dust that starts building after a few days.

nice shelf , same as i got ^^
Figures looks so more good in that !
Is that the detolf shelf from Ikea ? That thing is friggin heavy ^^;;
Finally! Freedom for figures! Freedom for figures! Freedom for figures!
As a matter of fact i just helped my brother building a Detolf this weekend ^^
I spot mostly Tokyopop MAngas…interesting
Hi,
nice shelf u got there, i have the same
I bought it in an Ikea for 39,95€ + a spot for 10€ (it looks really nice), it would have cost 70€ to ship it and i was lucky that my sis was going there to buy something. And yea, this thing is fu***** heavy, but i managed to lift it alone, couldnt let my sis do hard work :d. I even managed to build it alone, some tape to hold the glass together works wonders when building it
Here are some pics from mine, unfortunately i dont have over 100 figures, but i hope to have soon more.

greetings inuZ
I looove re-organizing my figures so much! I sometimes randomly re-arrange them on a whim.
Why don’t u do a post and let us (readers) choose which figures goes inside ur new shelf? ^^
I prefer them out of the box as u get the see the great quality and detail of the figure. U only see half of that in the box.
Shelf like that will help you protecting your figure from the dust, so if i were you, i wouldn’t worry to much about getting it out of the box. Just take them out while you can.
Lots of goodies in your room XD
I agree, that’s a very stylish shelf you’ve got there. I’m looking forward to your next figure guess!
Yeah, dust can be a problem but, the new shelf you got should keep them from getting too dusty (since it looks like it has a glass door).
I want all those shelves…
James: This is my third one. 2 for my figs and 1 for my gundams…
Saku: Yes iit is Saku. I know first hand that they are frigging heavy…
Blowfish: Yes yes I know Blowfish, I’ll only take a few out first…
Inuz: Yours is more stylish then mine. Mine will have figure boxes on top of it…
Lovelyduckie: For me, if you have that much otaku goodies, it’s a lot harder to do that…
Optic: I’ll ask this then, Optic, what you think which figure should be in there?
Sonic_Ver2: I will final take some out of the box.
Kel: Harder ones will come in hte future…
Larein: Dust is one of figures enemys. Must clean them!!!
Take your shower cold so you can put another shelf beside the door of your bathroom ^^
(i’m joking)
I’m done with detolfs, I got the green light to proceed into creating a shelf for my figures, much bigger than a detolf with more organizing space ^_^
grats for getting detolf! one is never enough tho hehehe
Iouki: No way, I don’t want to freeze to death…I love my hot shower!!!
Belela-san: I want to but sadly, the time I have is too little to build my own…I’ll manage for now…
Ron~: I know. I have a total of 3 right now. Two in my room and the other downstairs in the living room…
It just occurred to me how much stuff you have in there. Good luck with the redecorating ;P
Would’ve bought the shelf if it wasn’t for my cheapskate nature. Me? I’d go for them wooden three-storey rack with improvised “anti-dust” shielding.
