First Dakimukura Review!!!

Like the title says, my first dakimukura review. At first I was wondering how the heck do I do one. Then I just do what I do in figure reviews…but a dakimukura instead of a figure. For people who doesn’t know what a dakimukura is, it is a pillow sheet with usually an anime character on it. It is seen to be at least to be tall and huggable. Well, todays dakimukura is my Little Busters! Haruka Saigusa. I got this a while ago from Hobby Search, I don’t remember when I got though…too many packages I recieved this year. This dakimukura comes in at 150cm x 50cm. This dakimukura is huge and almost as tall as me. If there is a dakimukura that is taller then this, tell me…as this one is almost taller then me.
This dakimukura comes in 150cm x 50cm. Looks like I need to find a fill for it…real soon!!! Once I get the fill/ pillow, I’ll show you guys the full version. The art is rather super KAWAII!!! Unlike some dakimukura, this one has no ecchi stuff. I know out there in there world, there are a ton of dakimukura that has ecchi stuff. I do admit I have some dakimukura that has ecchi art on it. For this one, this has no ecchi art on it. I consider it rare to see dakimukura without ecchi art. I say this is one of those rare one. Despite no ecchi-ness…I love this dakimukura!!! Well there are two sides to this dakimukura. One in the cute school uniform and the other in a hip urban kind clothes. I have no clue how to describle it. For me, I would pick the urban side!!! I just love how she is posed!!!!!

This is a super kawaii item for all otaku out there!!! I want to hang this up but I’ll wait for the fill to come in then I get to hug it all day!!! Currently this sits on my shelf sadly.
The material used is currently unknown to me but I can say it is pretty soft!!! I do say it’s worth it to pick it up. It’s a great dakimukura!!! Well, this ends my first ever review on dakimukura. I hope you enjoyed it.
I would like to know would you guys buy dakimukura regardless on how much one cost…?
Would it be ecchi or non ecchi…?
One more thing, would you like to see more dakimukura reviews in the near future?

Ecchi Dakimakuras are an absolute No-No for me.
I dont own any Dakimakuras up to date but I think ill get one with the next Dengeki Festival

Little Busters FTW! xD I have my Kud and Yuiko dakimakura from Little Busters too… It’s a the bonus one from Dengeki Festival… xD
Kud’s pose is similar to that Saigusa’s second pose… xD

I definitely like the more urban side better too. That’s a cool looking dakimakura you got there. I still don’t own one for myself yet, but if I got one I’d probably go for one that isn’t too ero, mostly because of my son. Something like this would be fine.
yah, i prefer non ecchi dakimakura, and also the dakimakura needs to have full body view

I currently own no Dakimakura XD and I am thinking of getting one for Christmas. There are plenty of Dakimakura that I want at Hobby Search >.<
Wow that’s one huge Dakimakura. I haven’t seen very many nice male Dakimakura, so I think I’ll hold off on them for now. I’d prefer non-ecchi, and yes it would be wonderful to see more Dakimakura reviews!
First of all, congrats! You have now elevated your otakuism to a whole new level…and hopefully your female friends won’t think you’re a perv ^^;;
Really, though, I’d like to see some reviews of these things. I’m especially curious as to how they feel since I’ve never actually seen or touched one IRL. You also need to fill it up with a pillow, for sure; a hugging pillow can’t be a hugging pillow without the pillow XD
Also, @ Blowfish:That’s the guy who wanders around his city with a dakimakura in hand, right? If so, I still have no clue who he is (I’m assuming he’s a different meronpan from the English blogosphere’s meronpan), but he has my respect either way ;P
I like non ecchi body pillows! We have one of Haruhi right now. But I’d love a Vampire Knight one.
