Blogger and Otaku Meet…Planning…
Sorry for lack of posts, exams are happening at my university and I have to study. Well, I have a good idea to start a blogger/ otaku meet. It was similar on what Danny goes to every month. I basically planned out by having a meet with bloggers, otakus, fans of anime, gamers etc. The goal of this is to get otakus, bloggers, gamers, anime fans etc together and talk about similar interests like anime, manga, games and blogging. It’s also a chance to make new friends and learning stuff that you might not know about in the Japan culture and the otaku culutre.
The plan is to have the meeting on Dec 19, 2008 at Hot Pot King at Bowl 300 at 8PM. Anyone is invited as long as you sign up for the event on Facebook. Seats are limited and a max of 40 people are allowed to attend this event. If this goes well, I hope to make this into a monthly event. The event cost $25 per person for Hot Pot and $5 for a game of bowling and $3 for shoes. This event is also sponsored by ACG NA.
So far, bloggers/otaku I know that might/ will attend are: Saku, GNdynames, Eternal, Litokid and Fumika.
