Site Level Up!!! and Guessing Contest!!!

Well, a few hours ago my little blog became one years old. A year ago I set out to make a blog for otakus by an otaku that lives in Toronto. I wanted to show the world what a Toronto otaku is like and what life here in Toronto is like. Starting this blog also started my little hobby of figure collecting. Before I started my blog, I had a figure collection of 30 figures. After starting, it quickly grew to over time. Also my love for anime and manga made me more aware of the Japanese culture. I was able to experience some of that culture when I went to Japan on August 2008. My photography skills also improved greatly during the year. I hope to get better really soon!!! I think I did a lot for a blog that is just one year old.
With the level up of my site, I thought it was about time I release my new theme. I called it Koi Aichaku Version 2.0 Going Konata Style. Been trying to add and remove stuff for a long time. I did not create this from scratch. I basically took a theme and mod it a bit to my liking. Took a while to get the feature post gallery working. I finally got it working after so many failed attempts on making one. After modding and making some simple changes, I feel it looks pretty good. I hope you all like it. Well, I’m still trying to fix my rss, but then, there are sometimes unsolved problems that I need to figure out somehow. If anyone have any ideas, place let me know. Oh yea, the comment section is placed at the very bottom now. For short posts…now you have to scroll all the way to the bottm sadly. I’ll fix it somehow soon…
As you see, the mascot isn’t there. Well, my hand drawn mascot is still in the prototype stage and I’m trying to figure out how to color it. So it might take time until I release it. When I do, the banner will change.
Well, with the new theme and all. I decided to play a little game with you all. The picture below shows figures and boxes. Try to guess how many figures are in the picture. The person who guess the right answer will get an actual prize. I know, it just looks like a figure stack.
Rules:
-You must count how many figures and boxes are in the picture.
-Figures inside the box does not count as a figure so don’t double count.
-Boxes in the background doesn’t count. (How can you tell, just compare the brightness to the boxes on the stacked wall to the ones on the shelf) Basically, boxes or figures on the shelf does not count.
-A larger picture link is provided below the picture.
-Contest ends in 7 days from when this post.
-One chance only!!!!!!
-The person who gets the closest or the right answer will win. (In case of a tie, the person who posted first will win)
The prize will be a figure of some sort. I’ll send you an email saying that you won and further information on how to obtain the figure.
