Haruhi Suzumiya Live!!!

Well, I finally got some time to post this shoot that I’ve been dying to do. I was also meaning to put this shoot up yesterday but sadly couldn’t due to the fact my mouse on my desktop broke down and I had to go out and buy one today. I bet a lot of people has this figure by now and some had already posted shoots of her. I’m talking about the new Max Factory Haruhi Suzumiya Gekisou Version. If your one of those people who had been living under a rock for a couple of years or out of the anime life for too long I explain. Haruhi Suzumiya is from the ever popular The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. This is one of those anime that is still popular today and spawned many figures and new shows like the Haruhi-chan series airing on Youtube. This Haruhi figure is model off a few music theme pictures of Haruhi and is currently the first in this set of three figures dubbed Extravaganza Version. The set consist of Haruhi Suzumiya, Yuki Nagato and Mikuru Asahina. The other two will be released later this year.

As some of you know I revieved this figure a couple of days ago from Hobby Search. I got her for 7057yen on that from Hobby Search.

The detail on this figure is just amazing!!!

I feel attracted to this picture. It just so cool!!!

Feel that in this picture, she’s too pale…

Even the guitar pick is shown…

The paint on this guitar is just awesome!!! Thinking of this makes me want to pick up a guitar again and play…or maybe I should go back to drums…

The detail on her shoes and stockings…just amazing!!!

Review of Haruhi Suzumiya Gekisou Version:

Haruhi Suzumiya Gekisou version is made by Max Factory. I have to say, this is one of those figures that immediately catches my eye. I haven’t been buying any Max Factory figures since I’ve been buying GSC and Alter lately. I can easily forget how good Max Factory figures are. Example would be is the Kanon Makoto Sawatari figure. This is an extravagant figure. The detail of this is extremely well done and the quality of the work to the paint job on this figure, I give two thumbs up. They even painted the guitar pick which is really small and barely noticable. That is attention to detail right there. The guitar alone is just really nice. The strings are movable (just becare as it might snap off) and the paint job on it is pretty nice too!!! Haruhi’s pose I noticed is model after one of the Haruhi posters I own which I do say I love. You can say I love everything about this figure.

Not many negative points for this figure. The only thing I might want to say is…the stockings aren’t fabric. I don’t know why but it might but just the influence of the Freeing Haruhi figure I have.

Overall, amazing figure. It’s a must get for any collector or anyone in general. I give it an “A+”!!! All of you better get it!!!!! It’s a must!!!!!

Other Thoughts:

I think this shoot went quite well. Not many problems cam up aside from my camera being low on batteries. Aside from that, it went pretty well. The only thing I feel is that on my computer, the photos look great. Once I upload them, it looks off. I feel Haruhi is a bit too pale but when I look on my desktop from the photo file, it looks perfectly fine. I don’t know what’s going but I hope to figure it out soon.

As I said above, I was supposed to upload it yesterday. Sadly my mouse broke down magically and I had to go out today to go buy a new one. Now I can finally get some work done as well as some other shoots I did plus a dakimukura review I have yet to put up. Maybe I should do an oppai mouse pad review too. Sadly, don’t know if I should do one…

Well, I have exams these two weeks so don’t expect much from me as I have to study for my exams. I have 3 exams which one is on the 18th of April, one on the 24th of April and the last one on April 29th. The good thing for me, my exams are at least 5 days apart then I can study. I might be able to do one next week or even after my exam. Once all my exams are done, expect more posts and more info of future plans for my blog.

Looking a little pale there. Yeah you have to be careful of comparing photos you see on your image editing program to a web browser. If you are viewing on two screens then that’s usually the issue. Perhaps you need to adjust your monitor or something.

I use to get that problem as well and my reason is due to the fact I use different editing programs.
