Sorry for not posting everyday like I said I would. The problem is that the internet at the hotel was really bad, I mean BAD. It takes about forever to load my site. So I decided to blog all about Anime North once I got home. Oh boy, where to start. This weekend was kick ass and seriously, was a lot of fun but very tiring. I think throughout this whole weekend, I got around 6 to 7 hours of sleep. Anime North is a 3 day convention held in Toronto, Canada. Last year, over 13000 people attended this convention. I feel a lot more attened this year. This post contains all the photos of Anime North, so I decided to post everything (all three days) in one post. That is around 300+ photos. Also, can you spot the trap. My friend cosplayed as a female character. The hint is he is wearing blue.

So of the cosplay photos are taken by Rin (Me) and my friends as that had my camera at the time. I think at those times, my hands were full with loot…

Day 1:

Arrived at the hotel around 1PM and checked in. Meet up with Len Vesper from Fuwa~ and we headed into our room. After a rest and setting up the room, we headed down.

First cosplayers of the day. We heading to do some small shopping at the dealer room before my cosplay partner arrives. First, we need to grab some quick grub…

At this time of the day, there isn’t many people around…for now…

After lunch, we all headed to the dealers room. Since this is Len’s first Anime North, I think the place to go is the shopping area or the dealers room and artist alley.

If you don’t know what is “The Game”. It’s some 4chan thing or something and is better not knowing what it is cause it will annoy you to no end.

This is the anime flea market. It’s an event where we regular congers go and sell some goodies. I found a lot of stuff for a good price and sometimes, an amazing cheap price. I love this event. At the right bottom is Len Vespers head.

The flea market was packed and was hard enough looking for good stuff. I was able to find some things I never thought I’d buy but it looks so cool!!!!!

It’s getting late and I was hungry, so we headed back to our hotel room. We ordered at least $100 worth of pizza…

Early in the morning, my friend came over and we got changed into our cosplays. I went as Luca Angeloni and my friend went as Ranka Lee from Macross Frontier.

I woke up a bit early to clean my room before I checked out.

I quickly checked out before doing anything…

Headed to the dealers to just look around and I bought something I never thought I’ll ever get.

It was Sunday, that means free hamburgers at Harvey’s. Every Sunday at Anime North…it’s free hamburger day.

I hurried to Anime Name That Tune over at the other hotel which is a 10 to 15 min walk away…at another hotel…

I don’t like this walk at all, why can’t it be at the closer hotels…

I arrived and there are many people for the previous event…

It was pretty cool and everyone is signing along with the music!!!!!

The event is over and time for Name That Tune…

It starts…

This was probably the most…WTF name that tune I have ever been. I feel that they pick the fans with less knowledge on anime music then the people who actually knows their stuff. An example would be that one guy answered Lucky Star Op for the K-On ending Don’t Be Lazy. To the whole crowd, it was like yelling at that guy for not knowing what K-On is. I don’t like the system they use for Name That Tune. Randomly picking people with names on paper from a box is not the way. I say have the selection system from FanExpo where they play a song and to get up there, the person has to guess the song. They gives everyone a fair chance to go up, unlike this one which people can just cheat. Enough of the rant, but this is some of the flaws to the gaming section of AN.
