Wonfes, Day 2 in Japan

Sorry for the late post. WonFes has taken a lot out of me and when I got back to the hotel, I just crashed on my bed and fell asleep. Day has come and gone. I body is really sore after Wonder Festival. Carrying bags and bags is not a good idea when walking at WonFes. I took a ton of photos at WonFes. I think I took around a good 450 photos or so. Well, here is what happened on the day of Wonfes.

We woke up early to get ready Wonfes. It was about 5am when we left for the station.

The streets are pretty empty in the morning… We quickly headed for the station to head to Wonfes.

We waited in the station for the train to arrive. Our destination, Tokyo Station.

Sleeping in Japan…I found out so far, many people sleep on the drink but what I found more weird, they wake up at the station they get off of.

At Tokyo station…so many people…

I took the Keiyo line all the way to Kaihimmakuhari which is like a 20 minute train ride from Tokyo.

Arrived there and I basically just followed the crowd…

So many people…I can guess what most of them are here for…

Following…the crowd of people…

Follow the sign…

Well, I am at the right place…now where’s the line…

We walked for another 20 minutes to find the line…and so many people. I can say the people in front stayed overnight. I arrived at :the line at around 7:30am.

I’m far back in the line…I’m hoping I can get my hands on my Miku Figma…

Costco is pretty big…Canada…Costco is only one floor…Japan…a lot of floors…

It’s getting really hot in the line…

Around 9am, a lot of people…glad I’m not there…

People still coming to Wonfes…

The line started to move at around 9:30am…

I can’t see the end of the line…

So many people…and I finally reached the front of the convention center at around 10:20am.

When running towards the GoodSmile and Max Factory booth, I couldn’t help but take some photos…

These are really nice figures…

Touhou anyone…?

The convention hall is pretty big…there are 3 of these halls…

Ah, Taiga…damn…

I think they are Rumble Heart characters…nice!!!

So many figures…I WANT…

I just ran to the line at the GSC and Max Factory booth…I totally forgot my camera in my bag and my friend was holding my bag…

I was able to make it, and able to get what I wanted.

I met up with my friends and I got my bag back from them. Took more pictures… I see C.C.!!!

I walked around and continued to take some pictures…

My friend lined up at this booth…touhou figures…I wish I told him to get me one…

I see Touhou and it seems almost every maker is making a touhou figure these days…

I spotted the otacool poster…I see my room…

This is pretty cute too…and there are so many of them…

Headed for the Alter Booth and I see NANOHA AND FATE!!!

I know for a fact that Nanoha will take a lot of space in my shelf…

Alter does a great job with the Nanoha series of figures!!! I want them all!!!

Took a break as I was dead tired and my hands were killing me…

Most of this is mine…some belongs to my friends…

My friends where real hungry, so we decided it was enough and we headed back to the train station…

There was a food court right beside the station and I had Yoshinoya and my friends decided that want Beck…

For 480 yen, I got this nice meal…

Tsukasa was with me at this time too…

We headed back to Tokyo…all of use were tired out and my entire body was pretty sore…

We arrived back at the hotel…The things on the bed is my loot from Wonfes…

After a well deserved break, I went walking around…

I couldn’t help but went to K-Books and Animate…

My loot that I got from WonFes…

I say I went over board again but with half the budget…

hmmm if I ever get around to attending a convention in Japan I’ll be sure to plan ahead and leave early. That is an insane line lol. Looks like some crazy (but tiring) fun though. I’ll need to condition my hands to be able to hold so many bags for such a long time too haha. Awesome loot prices btw.

i do that all the time, and so does a lot of people in Malaysia. I guess its kinda common for asians (like Japan) as we rely on public transportation a lot ^^;;
