Things never goes as planned. I planned today to go to the Lucky Star walk and going to Konata’s house but I had to cancel it due to the rain. So to cure the boredom, we decided that we should spend the day in Ikebukuro. Also I have to thank Tim of Tim’s Blog for helping me and my friend a ticket to the new Kara No Kyokai movie. Compared to my other posts, this is rather a bit short I say…

The day started off with me and my friend just outside of our hotel. It was raining pretty heavily. Also it was pretty humid as well.

Even though it’s still raining…there are a ton of people…

Even Fuji Television station is filled with people…

So much rain…

We arrived in Shimbashi station and my friend decided to buy a new umbrella. 

Met up with Ken and his friend Nan…

Headed to the exit near Apple Road…

Now the rain stopped but still wet and hot. Ikebukuro rain or shine, there is a ton of people…

I want to watch this movie…

We headed to Gamers first…

Got hungry after looking at stuff so we headed out for some lunch.

I missed this in Kyoto…so good and so cheap!!!

We went to Gigo and played some arcades. I went for my favorite arcade game called Border Break… I’m addicted to this game…

Going to play it again before I leave Japan…

We all split up for a while since we have some things we all have to do before the movie starts at 9:30PM.

Running a bit late but arrived in Shinjuku…

Met up with Tim again and we headed to the movie theater…we got lost along the way but we somehow found the theater in the end…

Shinjuku sure is bright at night…

We came here to see this…the 7th movie of Kara No Kyokai… In the theater lobby, they sold regular theater stuff like popcorn and drinks but they had a stand where they sold rare Kara No Kyokai items, like a movie limited edition figure of Shiki or rare cards to the movie posters. I have to say, I couldn’t resist in getting some of these items. The movie itself in a whole was good. Better than the last one I think. Being what I think is the last movie, it really did end in a great way. I don’t like spoiling these movies so you will see no spoilers from me.

We all hurried to the station and get back where we needed to be as it was getting pretty late.

Well, I had a great time and got some good stuff. The movie overall was good and pretty much was something different compared to how I watch movies back in Canada.
