Today I attended and helped host the an ACG event, The ACG Otaku Meet Plus. It was a fun event and had a good spread of food too!!! This was one of the biggest event that ACG had ever organized and it was really successful.Like most events I go to, I always provide coverage and here is the coverage of the event. Around 36 people attended this ACG Event. Last time was just 10, we increased it to 36 people. I hope this will continue to such a huge event.

I arrived in downtown around an hour before the event started to set up. Parking isn’t hard if you know where to park here in downtown. This event was held at Woo’s Buffet at Younge and Dundas.

Once 5PM hit, the people just kept coming in.

Once I got settled, I started to play some music. I also have to eat too. Sushi and meat…I love my meat!!! Yuki also joins me for dinner too!!!

We have games playing at the event. A BlazBlue tournament was also held by ACG’s Game Master. Prizes were given out to the winner of the tournament.

We only had 2 Xbox 360s. One was used for the tournament and the other Xbox 360 was used for free play. We had 2 joysticks and a couple of controllers for people to play. Later during the night, we had a Wii for free play.

Most people at the event were attracted to the gaming part of the event. Since by that time the tournament was over, free play was on. Everyone just played that while I was hosting Anime Name That Tune. Name that tune was okay, but I had to use a ton of easy songs as some people didn’t know what song is what. Next time I do this, I need to put in a ton of simple songs for people.

Some people already left as it was a Sunday and for some people, they had classes the next day unlike me. Around 8PM to 9PM people started leaving as it was late. I say around half the people left at that time and the other half stayed till the end.

Up next is the gothic lolita contest and Domo crashes it!!!

As the party was nearing it’s end, it’s time to pack up and leave.  The place we were at was closing and we packed up and left for home.

It was an extremely successful event as this time, most people who wanted to attend, did attend. I want to thank everyone who attended the event. I hope to see all of you at another ACG event again!!!

I know I haven’t taken a lot of pictures, it’s due to the fact that some of the pictures I had taken earlier were way too blurred or way too dark. Next time, there will be way more.
