Let’s get this figure photo shoot week started. To get things started with this week of figure shoots, is Banpresto’sKagami Hiiragi (Klan cosplay version) or what I like to call her Kagami Klan. Just like I promised that my next shoot was Kagami, here she is. She is from the hard to get set of Banpresto Lucky Star X Macross Frontier figures. There are a few ways to get her but the cost for just one is pretty expensive. Anyways, lets get on with the shoot!!!

The detail of the clothes are really nicely done.

She does look embarrassed…cosplaying…must be Konata’s idea.

What’s this, Klan Klan is here too!!!

Review of Kagami Klan:

Kagami Klan is made by Banpresto. Like most of Banpresto figures, a lot of nice details were put into the figure. It’s a really nice figure but not up to par as the other figures in the set. The overall sculpt of the figure is nicely done. Banpresto did an excellent job in detailing Klan’s uniform on Kagami. Kagami in a Lucky Star way does somehow look like Klan, minus the purple hair. The only problem I have with this figure which I consider a big problem is how they made Kagami’s mouth. It stands out and I think her mouth is too wide. I also think the figure would look better with a different kind of mouth.

I’m changing my grading system now to something out of 10. Kagami Klan’s overall mark is 7.5/10.

Other Thoughts:

So it begins, the week of figure photo shoots. A figure shoot everyday for a week. One down, 6 to go.

Another shoot will come tomorrow. Who knows which figure I’ll do tomorrow. So stay tuned!!!
