Welcome to the second figure photo shoot of this weeks “Figure Photo Shoot Week”. The figure for today’s shoot is GoodSmile Company’s Lily Saber. The figures from the preview post I had 2 days ago will be posted somewhere around this week. This Lily Saber came from a local hobby shop that I usually go to on a weekly basis. I was one of those people who didn’t pre-order Lily Saber cause I totally forgot about it. Ever since I saw her at my local hobby store, I had to save up a bit to get her and finally I have her.

Lily Saber is from Typemoon’s Fate Stay Night series. She mostly appears in the fighting game called Fate Stay Night Unlimited Codes for the arcade and PS2 and Fate Stay Night Unlimited Codes Portable for the PSP as an unlockable character. Technically it’s just Saber with different clothes in the game. Ever since that game, she has been pretty popular as far as I know.

You can have Saber not holding the Avalon sheath.

Saber came with 2 swords. One fits into the sheath.

The base is huge, had to clear out 2 figures to make room for her. Still, the base is really nice!!!

Review of Lily Saber:

This 1/7 scale Lily Saber was made by GoodSmile Company. There are many elements that made Lily Saber stand out. Little things like the ruffles in her clothes to the details on the sword to how the base looks. All these individual elements make this figure stand out in a good way. The details put into this figure and even it’s base is stunning. The details on Saber’s face and hair is done very well and matches the sculpt pose she is placed perfectly. GoodSmile added little things that makes this figure stand out more. Such little things like a sword that actually fits into the sheath to having another hand that doesn’t hold the Avalon sheath. The main appeal to me is the pose she is in. It just attracted me into getting her.

Overall she is gets a perfect score of 10/10. I can’t find any faults with her, she’s basically a perfect figure. The details that is put into the figure was worth the wait and worth the price.

Other Thoughts:

Two down, 5 to more shoots to go. This shoot went pretty well. Some colors are a bit off I say. It must had happened when I moved my camera a bit. I actually just got her recently and couldn’t wait to do a shoot on her. So I decided to do one of her for the figure photo shoot week. I’m starting to get used to using a black fabric background which is a good thing. I might soon move on using the white fabric background and maybe other colors as well in the near future.
