Koi Aichaku Turns 2 and KA’s Birthday Contest!!!

Today, Koi Aichaku turns 2 years old. It’s been 2 years since I started this small blog and began blogging. To great years and I hope for many more to come soon. What made Koi Aichaku the blog it is today is all of the people who visited and enjoyed the content I put out week after week. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the readers out there. Expect more better content in the near future.
Well, to celebrate the birth of my blog. A new look. Every year it seems that I change my layout and make it better than the last. This years layout took a good few weeks to do. The new theme of KA is called Just Around as in meaning that I’m always around on my blog thinking of a post or something. I’ve also added a new tag line for this theme. It’s called “Otakuism is a Culture” as saying the otaku culture is much more than people liking anime and games, it’s much more than that. On to the theme, the main feature is the big slider in the middle. This slider will feature all my figure photo shoots I have done. Also added a new Twitter section on my blog as well. I say the blog has a new clean look to it and has a more modern look on it. Konata still graces the main banner as I feel that she represents what a hardcore otaku is and well, she is my favorite anime character in general. I have also shorten my category list so it’s more easier to search for content. I hope you enjoy the new theme!!!
There were problems when uploading and making this theme work. I’ve somewhat solved most of the problems with it. At first, many problems rose up and I had to quickly work to solve the problem. So if anyone saw something wrong with the site when they visited between 12am to 3:40am, I was upgrading and fixing problems I had. Now it seems to be running properly. Also, if there is any problems with the theme, please tell me as I only test it on my computer and laptop on Firefox and IE.
With the new theme comes new content. I plan on making 2 post or more a week if possible. Also I have a new helper that will help me on my blog from time to time. I consider her my little sister in real life. She has a different yet nice view on the otaku culture as well. I think she’s been lurking around my blog and comments once in a while. I want you all to welcome Yuki as she is my new helper on my blog. Technically she’s going to post things on dollfie, figures, anime, manga, cosplay tips and etc. She’ll be introducing herself later on the blog.

Well, it happened last year, it’s going to happen again. Koi Aichaku is hosting another contest. This time, it’s going to be split into 2 parts. People who guessed right for this round will win and move on to the final round to win a prize. This years prize will be revealed in round 2. The contest will also be on Danny Choo’s Figure FM.

I took an existing theme and basically mod it…but that took a lot time as it is….
Liking the new layout. Looks real smooth. The menu with the sliding blue bar reminds me of Pong, though ^^;

Congratz on ur 2nd Blog anniversary. Reaching this milestone is definitely at great achievement as I find many struggle to make it this far.
One thing I like about ur new theme is it’s not as clustered as ur old one. The layout is nice but 1 thing I prefer if the Recent Entries, Popular Post and Comments section was placed at the bottom of the footer as it blocks the recent entry of ur first post until I scroll down but that’s just me.
Hmmm… maybe this isn’t the case for 1600 x 1200 resolutions.
