Kaiko Cosplay Tutorial

By: Yuki

Hey Guys, so here are some steps to doing a very nice Kaiko cosplay =]
*If you do not understand this tutorial, its alright, feel free to contact me for advice or ask someone you know that is skilled in cosmetics.

Here is the character i chose for this tutorial
Character: Kaiko
From: Vocaloid

Step 1: So, first off wash your face with your facial cleanser. After, use which ever acne serum on your face, or on the spots containing your acne. This will prevent it from becoming worst or to break out more. Once completed, put on your contacts if your cosplay needs it or if you have it. *suggested to have prescribed ones if you need them*

Step 2: This is optional, if you like to be extremely precise. You can cut, shape and paint your nails which ever way you like.

Step 3: Concealer does great things once you know how to use it. Apply to places where needed, including the neck if you like. After, use a concealer brush or your finger and just lightly make a circle around the small area and circle around till the concealer is blended in with your skin.

Step 4: Foundation is the key to your make-up. First, dot the foundation evenly over your face and/or neck with a foundation brush [if you have one] and apply till blended all over your face/neck. * be sure to check for harsh edges, if there are any take a blending brush or your finger and pat it down till even.

Step 5: Finishing Powder will help set the foundation so it will not drip off your face. Use a large Kabuki brush or a powder puff to evenly apply the loose or compressed finishing powder on your face. * check for harsh edges.

Step 6: Part 1: * if you do not have eyebrow gel you may skip the first half of the step* Take the eyebrow gel and apply it so your eye brows are nice and shaped for your cosplay.
part 2: Once dried, apply the darkest blue of eyeshadow (covergirl 3 shade shadow) – make sure it matches the wig color. use the brush given to apply till even. [tip: sponge brushes are the best when applying colors to areas with course skin and with small amounts of hair.]

Step 7: This part is also optional. You may contour your nose if you wish. This will cause an effect to make your nose look slimmer and pointier. It will help you be photogenic.

Step 8: Instead of using blush, use bronzer to create the effect of a smaller face and higher cheekbones. Use a blush brush or a sponge pad to do this. First, suck in your cheeks then apply the bronzer to the utensil chosen. Start applying lightly to the apples of your cheekbones in gentle circles. Then slowly bring up to the side of your brows *at the end of the brows*.

Step 9: Lastly, put your wig cap on and then your wig. =] once you are done, style accordingly and you are finished!

The end result should kind of look like this, unfortunately i’m short so it looks a bit awkward on me. None the less, here it is. =]

I hope you enjoyed my first tutorial and i hope that you have gotten something from it ^o^ Until next time!

Its not difficult at all. just have some friends help you and teach you =]. as long as your contacts are clean and hydrated, then all will be fine
