About ~Rin~
Koi Aichaku
A blog that opened on January 22 2:35 AM. It tells the life on an otaku that lives in Canada. Everything that is related to my otaku lifestyle. This blog is a way to share my love for anime, manga, or even my anime goods. I can talk about my daily life, thoughts and any otaku related stuff. As you maybe see, this site is made by an otaku for otakus!!!!!!!!!!!
I will also show and take pictures of my figures that I own. Going out a look for and good background and take pictures of the figure. It’s going to be hard to find a good place to take pictures because I live in Toronto (It’s a city).
About The Otaku
Rin (Me) is the online name of an asian otaku living in Toronto, Canada. Rin has a major love to his hobbies which is anime and games. Like many otakus, he loves to collect anime goods, read mangas and watch anime. He is also a huge fan of Lucky Star (as you can clearly see), Suzumiya Haruhi no Yutsu, Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha and Gundam Series. He is currently in Ryerson University and trying to major in ITM (Information Technology Management). When he`s not at school. He`s always either seen on his bed sleeping or on the computer. Rin loves Japan because of his hobby and also cause he loves the culture of Japan. In the summer of 2008, he finally went to the land of otaku. That was the first time he was on a plane. Currently, he has been to Japan twice and plans on making a yearly trip to Japan in the month of August to attend Comiket. He is currently the Otaku Representative of ACG NA (Anime, Comic and Games North America) and plans and host otaku events in the Toronto area. He sometimes feel that with an online name like Rin, people also think that he’s a girl due to the fact that Rin (meaning cold in Japanese) is mostly used as a girls name. The origin of this name is the combination of the first letter of his first name and the last two letters of his last name. You get Rin in the end. When he watched Shuffle!, Rin was used as a guys name. Now you`ll know how he feels and his random rants with this blog and he can share his life with all of you!!!!!!!
About the Site Name ?
“Koi” means love in japanese. I do know that “Ai” also mean love aswell in japanese. Aichaku means “Affection” in japanese. It took along to decide on what name should the blog. A lot of words were used to decide on what the official site name is. Finally, over 200 words later… Koi and Aichaku was chosen as the words for the site.
Why start ?
Hard to say. I’ve been reading such blog sites like http://www.dannychoo.com/, http://www.mukyaa.com/ or http://www.darkmirage.com/. They seem to inspire me to make blog site. I’m just a simple otaku that wants to share his life with all of you.
